Train ticket booking policy
Support TWO main booking ways:
  • 12306 account: Fill in the 12306 ID and password to proceed with the verification before booking. The ticket will impose a handling fee of CNY13.
  • Manual ticket: No need for any login requirement to proceed with the booking. The ticket will impose a handling fee of CNY18.
Pricing charge on Manual Ticket:
  • All train tickets that cost below RMB19 are NOT ALLOWED to request cancellation / refund.
  • All train tickets that cost above RMB19 are ALLOWED to request cancellation / refund. An errand fee of RMB15 will be imposed.
Note: The platform currently does not support round-trip tickets (aka. simultaneous purchase of outbound and return journeys).
Why does the price show a difference
TWO main reasons that cause prices to differ:
  • Train seat price differs: The platform will charge the highest available fare per seat.
  • Train passenger price differs: TogaGo will charge an adult passenger fare on a child passenger.
Note: The extra charge will be converted into GO Cash points and credited into your TogaGo account within 1-15 working days.
About child passenger ticketing
A child’s height will cost price differ:
  • Child height is >1.5m: Charge with the adult ticket price, an adult ticket will be purchased by using an ID card or any other relevant documents.
  • Child height is between 1.2m to 1.5m: Charge with the child ticket price, require child’s own ID card or household registration book.
  • Child height is < 1.2m: No seat provided, each adult passenger can bring along one child, otherwise, a child ticket is required.
Child ticket terms and conditions you must know:
  • Children must have an adult travelling with them and at least one adult ticket is required in the same booking.
  • Children's tickets can be purchased using a child's ID card, or tickets can be purchased using a peer adult ID.
  • If the child doesn't have an ID card, please use the household registration to purchase a child ticket.
Why does the system notify a conflict of the route
TWO main reasons that cause prices to differ:
  • Non-CNY Peak Seasons: Passengers book tickets for the same date, itinerary and number of trips on this or other platforms
  • CNY Peak Seasons: Passengers have booked tickets on this or other platforms that overlap with this travel time.
Note: You may re-book again 30 minutes later after you have made a cancellation or refund.
Non-second-generation ID cards ticket purchasing
The platform accepts the following types of documents:

What are the ticket refund charges
These are the train refund fee rules that you may need to know:
  • No fee is imposed for a refund made 8 days or more prior to departure.
  • 48 hours and 7 days (inclusive) prior to departure: 5% fare charge.
  • 24 to 48 hours prior to departure: 10% fare charge.
  • Less than 24 hours prior to departure: 20% fare charge.
  • If you make changes (including changes to the arrival station) between 48 hours and 15 days and then cancel your ticket more than 15 days before departure, 5% of the ticket price will be charged.
  • The final refund will be subject to the actual refund of the Railway Bureau (rounding for a minimum of RMB 2 in case of charge).
  • For manual ticket refunds, the application must be completed within 180 minutes before departure.

Yes, you can. As long as you haven’t cancelled the booking. However, please contact the hotel side to change your name to the new guest’s name in that booking. This is necessary to ensure a smooth verification process during check-in.
Cancellation
You may go to < My Bookings > and tab that particular booking. Click < Cancel Booking > and it will notify you if your stay is not allowed to cancel. If cancellation is allowed, you may proceed to select < Keep This Booking / Cancel Anyway > in the pop-out window.

You can always check your booking status on the < My Bookings > page, under the < Cancelled > section. The refund process will take within 7-14 working days.

You may check all the booking statuses on the < My Bookings > page. There are THREE Main statuses to categorise your bookings, which are < Upcoming / Completed / Cancelled > status.
You may go to < My Bookings > and find your booking. Select < Send Voucher or Send Receipt > , then < Key in the email address > that you would like to receive.
